3rd Annual NorCal Bachelor Trip
Where's all the snow falling... Up North!! For those of you that ran up to Bachelor with us the last 2 seasons, you know what an epic trip this is. This year will be no less amazing!
Here are all the basic details:
This will be a 3 day trip, leaving Friday, February 28th, arriving in Bend, Oregon Friday evening. We'll then ride the fluffy white stuffboth Saturday AND Sunday (As of 12/6: 2 feet of fresh powder in the last week with 8" in the last 24hrs!), returning to NorCal on Sunday night (option to stay through Monday).
Total cost for this trip is still TBD, but will be around $320. This includes almost EVERYTHING... gas for your driver, lodging for both Friday and Saturday (cabin-style rooms with full kitchens, fireplace and access to the jacuzzi), 2 lift tickets (Saturday and Sunday), Sunday Lasagna lunch and a few other VIP surprises I'm in the process of working out. Your only added expenses will be a few meals and any additional entertainment you wish to partake in (bars, restaurants, etc.).

CARPOOL:
We'll be carpooling up to Bend Oregon, which is about a 7-8 hour drive. If you are willing to drive, please state in RSVP how many you can take COMFORTABLY with gear. Those willing to drive will of course receive gas $$ to cover the entire trip, so their overall cost will be a bit lower.
Please be aware that we will possibly be leaving Oregon on Sunday evening after a full day of boarding, so those who don't feel they can handle the 8 hour drive should not volunteer.
We'll meet on Friday, February 28th at 9:00am in Sacramento, with an estimated arrival time in Bend, Or. around 5PM.
LODGING:
We'll be staying at Mount Bachelor Village Resort which put us up the last 2 years. It's a great resort offering Ski House lofts with full kitchens, Fireplace, Washer & Dryer, and just a short drive to both Downtown Bend, as well as to the mountain. Each Ski House sleeps 4-6 people (each person with their own bed). Should you wish to have your own room (cost will be additional), let me know and I can make the arrangements.
RESERVATION:
There are small number of open spaces for this trip, so if you want in, you MUST PUT IN YOUR DEPOSIT. Simply RSVPing on Meetup DOES NOT guarantee you a spot!
If you're interested in this trip, you'll need to place your first deposit of $120 before Friday, January 10th. Click on the link below to place your deposit.
The next $120 installment will be due by Friday, January 31st and the remaining balance (TBD... Should be between $80 and $100) will be due by Monday February 24th. Once you place your deposit, it isNON-REFUNDABLE as I need to pre-purchase the lift tickets and lodging, so please be sure you can make the trip before putting in your initial deposit!
