Father's Day Hike at Mount Diablo
Come out June 18th (Father's Day), and join in for some hiking.
*Please note that this is rated as an intermediate-advanced hike.
The Grand Loop offers a bird's-eye view of the Bay Area, and sometimes glimpses far beyond, of the Farallon Islands, Mount Lassen, the Sierra Nevada, and the Santa Cruz Mountains.
This hike goes down, up, down, up, down. We will stop for lunch on the descend of Bald Ridge. The hike (6.3 miles) has some fairly steep ups and takes approx 4.5 hours to complete, with 2k feet of climbing.
Please bring sunscreen, appropriate layers, snacks/lunch and plenty of water.
There will be a $10 dollar park entrance fee.

We meet at 6:45am on the dot, we leave at 7:00am sharp! Arrive at Jupiter Campground by 9am
If you plan on carpooling, have $20 cash... Please try and have exact change!
REMEMBER TO BRING:
$20 for gas for the driver (if you're carpooling; Exact change is appreciated)
